I gave Art A Whirl!

This past weekend I got to participate in the largest open art studio tour in the country, Art A Whirl!  I was in the Casket Arts Building in studio 115. The Casket was just one of 60 locations and more than 500 artist's that were showing art in Northeast Minneapolis. Not only was there art, but lots of music and food.

I was in the studio with 5 other amazing artists: Plaid Poppy designs multimedia artist, Mercury Mosaics ceramic art panels, Ann Solyst multimedia artist, Flora Bella florist and Marissa Martinez jewelry artist. I learned so much this weekend and got to talk to so many amazing people. I can't wait to do it again next year and hope if I didn't see you this year I see you next year! : )

Shutter to display the cute little stud earrings!

I found this window near a trash and knew it was perfect for necklaces!

Did you know I make rings?! The rings in front are suppose to look like geodes when actually it's melted car glass.

I used part of a tree I cut down last fall to help show off these necklaces!

Ann Solyst drawing an amazing bear! Contact her via email for more info on any of her work! annpaintings@gmail.com

She does amazing oil paintings, charcoal drawings and many more artsy talents! She works primarily on large canvas capturing the diversity and emotion of the subject.

Stacey Pitman of Plaid Poppy Designs working on a little something.

Stacey is also very talented. Painting, typography, watercolor, photography and graphic design artist.

Until next year!
